I am an experienced tax professional. I worked within the Big 4 (Business Services and then Tax) for the first 18 years of my career and then a further 13+ years within a mid-tier firm based in the Melbourne CBD.
I have worked with a wide range of clients, from individuals through to ASX listed entities. I have worked with trusts, partnerships and both small and large companies. My expertise spans further than tax consulting/compliance with a good understanding of financial reporting concepts, tax effect accounting, risk and corporate governance as well as leadership.
I left the realm of being an ‘employee’ and started my own specialist practice in late 2023.
Over the years, I have built a reputation for my ability to advise in and on tax and other matters in a friendly and approachable way. Many clients comment on my ability to make the complex simple in the way I explain and outline the operation of the tax law. The most commonly sought after tax offering of mine is to act as a ‘tax’ sounding board. To be available to listen, explain the operation of the tax law, and, where asked for, collaborate with clients on possible approaches or solutions.
I can also provide tax advice in many areas as required.
Although I am very familiar with the tax compliance process, I am not currently offering a tax compliance service - I will however, work with you to ensure your tax compliance outcomes reflect any advice given by me and will work closely with your tax compliance provider (whom I can also source for you if you require).
